Some cases will have multiple receipt numbers, one for each form that has been submitted. While your case is being processed, the case status will read “initial review.” This means that at this time, USCIS has asked for no additional information, but has not yet made a decision on your case. You may scroll down on the case status page to check the average posted processing times.
